Modern dance today was exactly what I've needed. Improv. I felt everything I wanted to feel and danced - with almost no rules. I've never experienced anything more therapeutic. I'm continuously amazed by the power and freedom of just letting yourself be. This lyric from Missy Higgins has always hit home for me in that respect: I wanna know where children would go if they never learned to be cool.

Now, I'm going to go enjoy this beautiful weather in whatever way feels right to me. In the mean time, check out this guy's awesome collection of instruments and 8-tracks....honestly, yeah, he's pretty cool.

Have a seriously awesome weekend.

Hello world! I have been knee deep in schoolwork and admittedly going through a challenging transition...but none the less, the blog must continue!

Thunderstorms, rain, and cold have moved in to replace the sunny weather this fall but I have to admit...it's been just right. I was ready for an excuse to light candles and sip tea. It's been a real comfort in this time of change for me. I feel like there is a positive shift making its way into my life and I am willing to be patient. In the mean time, I am quite excited to join in Joanna's 'Articles Club' for a little something to do while I sip all of this tea!

I'll be blogging lots of pretty things soon...maybe in this dreamy soft sweater via April & May.

Have a peaceful week, off to yoga!

This place looks amazing. To all my SF friends, please go! The Stable Cafe via Kinfolk.

A little late in the game but I finally got the Design Sponge book and, oh hello, I've got the decorating bug again. Was pleased to see that my hero from 7th grade, Genevieve Gorder from Trading Spaces, had the first house tour. And, to anyone who was raised Catholic, I literally picked Genevieve as my confirmation name because of her. Priorities.
